The Transit 145 T300 MWB & Meduim roof is the entry model with a payload of over 1000kg. A metal bulkhead is fitted, central locking and a CD radio as standard, higher specification packs are available. It is very unlikely that any Ford dealer will have any in stock. We carry a group stock of petrol transit and offer competitive pricing on new vehicle orders – 01903 715715 The SWB is only available as a T330 with a low roof, but can have the luxury packs for the owner operator. We currently have our own T330 for operator trial, ring us 01903 715715. or email us |

A filling port is situated adjacent to the existing filler flap on the nearside (or the offside if you want, like shown here) . Commonly we fit a 83 litre donut tank in place of the spare-wheel assembly. This provides a range of 250 miles from the Autogas / lpg conversion, the tank holds only 65 litres of lpg. A large vessel can be mounted in side the load space or along the nearside rail on chassis cabs. |

We fit a conveniently mounted dashboard fuel status switch, which display the tank contents (4 led's), and status display a “traffic-light” indicator to which fuel it is running, green being gas. The switch operation is straight forward, petrol only or automatic lpg. In the Automatic LPG the system will run on Autogas until the tank pressure drops, then it will change over to petrol and a bleeper will alarm the operator – until switched manually back to petrol to turn off the bleeper. |

The chassis cab versions have now been joined with Double Crew Cab option. Ideal gang master vehicles, with seating for six and a substantial payload |

:- Great news, the Mayors office released the future plans for the Congestion Charge exemptions and discounts on the 12th Feb 08. Basically LPG vehicles that qualify as exempt or discounted registered before 29th Oct 08, will continue to receive 100% discount until Jan 2010.
The comparison is ** p per mile (ppm) from a diesel and ** ppm from the LPG conversion.
When taking fuel from a forecourt, with diesel at £1.20/l and Autogas at £0.54 /l .
When using bunkered LPG at around £0.44 the cost is ** ppm and a 40% saving can be expected.
