Mondeo lpg

The current Mondeo is available with a four cylinder ford or five cylinder Volvo derived engine. Both are suitable for LPG conversion and work especially well.

The 2.5 litre engine has a Turbo fitted which poses no problem. The LPG tank  is stored in place of the spare wheel on both the saloon and estate models, leaving a clear load space. And provides over 330 miles of range on gas before automatically switching back to petrol.

Ford make a variety of vehicles and engines, not all are sold in the UK. Typical America are the V8 and V10 units, starting at 4.6 litres in the Ford Mustang.

The V8's are fitted in everything from cars to coach built motorhomes. Albeit they have large engine capacity they are not much heavy on fuel than European models returning 18-25mpg. That is using Imperial gallons. When on LPG the consumption is slightly more.
